What is GILA?

Live, learn, and grow in the heart of Alaska

Galena Interior Learning Academy (GILA) is a fully accredited, tuition-free high school for Alaska students in grades 9–12.

Students live and learn in a vibrant residential community of more than 200 peers while pursuing focused career pathways in aviation, cosmetology, culinary arts, automotive technology, welding, carpentry, small engine repair, health sciences, and more.
